Kellton Tech Solutions has purchased US-based IT outsourcing firm eVantage Technologies. No financial details of the deal have been disclosed.
The New Jersey-based IT services firm stated in a press release that the acquired assets will help it to expand ERP services worldwide, adding that it would change the name of the acquired company to eVantage Solutions Inc.
Listed in the Bombay Stock Exchange, Kellton is part of a new breed of Indian technology firms striving to gain a comfortable foothold in the lucrative US market. This is the company’s fifth acquisition in recent years.
Acquisition appears to be at the center of Kellton’s growth strategy as it has added new services to its portfolio every time it has bought out a smaller rival. Its acquisitions include Supremesoft Global and MCS Global in the United States and Tekriti Software and DbyDx Software in India.
Kellton’s offerings include end-to-end IT solutions, strategic technology consulting, offshore product development services, enterprise application integration and business intelligence (BI).
The latest acquisition, Kellton claims, distinguishes it from other service providers, making it the most “comprehensive” IT solutions provider in the IT services industry.
Analysts say most of Kellton’s clients are Indian companies, although it also has a few foreign clients such as Nokia and Yebhi.com. Kellton has offices in Hyderabad and Gurgaon in India, and Virginia and New Jersey in the US.
Founded 1996, eVantage provides enterprise consulting solutions and application outsourcing. Reports say the company only recently added Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) to its service portfolio.
On its website, the company says it also offers information worker solutions, business process integration, and database management solutions, onsite/offsite application development, outsourced product development, remote system/database administration, on-demand/managed testing services, and business intelligence.
